MasterChef Dining cocktails
There’s just one more week left to check out MasterChef Dining, a popup restaurant and bar located at the forecourt of St Mary’s Cathedral!
Our very own Jason Williams designed the cocktail list, full of delicious little tipples. Here’s just a small taste…
Plum and Quandong Negroni (pictured left)
An Australian twist on the classic Italian aperitivo cocktail. Tanqueray No. 10 is a premium new style of gin incorporating lots of chamomile and grapefruit flavours. We use that as a starting point and add Queensland plum liqueur and quandong bitters.
These lovely products come from the Tamborine Mountains Distillery in the Gold Coast Hinterland. This is a very citrus forward cocktail with a real bitter finish, designed to open up the palate before a meal, perfect for the MasterChef Dining experience.

Spiced Honey and Apple Daiquiri
Here is a rich warming variation on a classic. The base is Ron Zacapa 23 year old, a rum from Guatemala made from sugar cane ‘honey’. It’s sweet with loads of spice.
We match that up with a great locally produced spiced apple and honey syrup (Simple Syrup Co.) and give it a real zing with fresh lime juice. Shaken and served straight up. Garnished with a big resort-style lime wheel.
